Basic wiring and electronic skills (or a mechanically inclined friend) would be good to have for installation. It isn't for everyone or every vehicle, but it can be made to work on most fuel injected vehicles on the road these days. You will need to identify a battery lead (preferably fused), a ground lead, an injector lead, and a suitable vehical speed signal would be handy as well.
