Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
This page covers opengauge.org, the Open Gauge project's website — not the Open Gauge software itself, and not any self-hosted instance a third party operates. Every self-hosted Instance of the Open Gauge application is its own data controller for the calibration, asset, and account data stored in it; see that Instance's own Privacy Policy page for how it handles that data.
1. What we collect on this site
opengauge.org itself is static content — there is no account system, no tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics script. The only personal data we receive is what you choose to submit through the contact form: your name, email address, and message.
2. The contact form
Submitting the contact form sends your name, email address, and message to hello@opengauge.org via Resend, a transactional email API, so the Open Gauge team can reply to you. We use it only to respond to your message and don't add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
3. Cookies and local storage
This site stores a single value in your browser's local storage — your light/dark theme preference. No cookies are set and no third-party tracking or analytics scripts run on this site.
4. Hosting
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process standard web request metadata (e.g. IP address, user agent) as part of delivering the site and its edge/CDN services — see Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any contact-form message you sent us by emailing hello@opengauge.org.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
