Terms of Service
Last updated: July 21, 2026
This page covers opengauge.org, the Open Gauge project's website — not the
Open Gauge software itself, and not any self-hosted instance a third party operates. For the
terms that apply to a specific self-hosted Instance of the Open Gauge application,
see that Instance's own Terms of Service page (typically at its /terms path),
provided by whoever operates it.
1. What this site is
opengauge.org is an informational and marketing site for Open Gauge, an open-source project licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). It links to the software's source code, documentation, and a live demo, and offers a contact form to reach the project maintainers. It does not host any customer data, accounts, or calibration records.
2. Acceptable use
Use this site for lawful purposes only. Do not attempt to disrupt it, scrape it abusively, or submit the contact form with spam, malicious content, or content you don't have the right to send.
3. The contact form
Submitting the contact form sends your name, email address, and message to the Open Gauge project's support inbox, so we can reply to you. See the Privacy Policy for how that's handled.
4. No warranty
This site, and the Open Gauge software it describes, are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, consistent with the AGPL-3.0 license under which the software is distributed.
5. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
